- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1/3 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 4 eggs, divided
- 1 package (1 lb. 6.5 oz.) brownie mix with chocolate syrup pouch
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 2-quart square casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, with electric mixer, combine cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and 1 egg until smooth; set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine brownie mix, contents of chocolate syrup pouch, remaining 3 eggs, water and oil until well blended. Reserve 2 tablespoons. brownie batter.
Pour remaining batter into casserole and microwave on High 5-6 min. until top is still wet in center but sides are set. Spread peanut butter mixture evenly over hot brownie (mixture will begin to melt).
With a fork, carefully swirl reserved 2 tablespoons reserved brownie batter into peanut butter mixture, being careful not to disturb set brownie underneath.
Bake in preheated oven 15-20 minutes or until top is set and just browned at edges. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
