Banana Nut Cake


  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. bananas (about 2 large bananas)
  • 1/4 c. vanilla yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts


Preheat oven to 350. Sift flour and baking soda together, set aside.  Cream butter, sugar and eggs; add vanilla.  Alternate adding the flour mixture wityh the yogurt.  Beat until well blended.  Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 baking pan.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Let cool compltetly before icing with cream cheese icing.
