Grandma’s Sour Cream Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream

DIRECTIONS

Cream together butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with sour cream. Layer batter in bread pan sprinkling each layer with mixture of 4 tablespoons flour, 6 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees, 1 hour.
